The OMG plans to hold a SysML v2 Summit at the next OMG meeting in Reston, VA, on March 20, 2025. This is an all-day event open to the public as an in-person event. The event is targeted at the systems engineering community, and we are inviting OMG members, local businesses, and local INCOSE chapters. Can you help share the event information and encourage participation among the Chapter members? The event and registration page is at https://www.omg.org/events/2025q1/special-events/sysml-summit.htm, and the cost to attend is $99.
The event coincides with submitting the SysML v2 specification to the OMG for final adoption. The specification adoption process begins at the Reston meeting, and the final adopted specification should be available in mid-2025. The event is intended to help organizations and practitioners begin their transition planning to MBSE with SysML v2.
Daniel Hettema, the DoD Director, Digital Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, is the keynote speaker, and Steve Records, INCOSE Executive Director, will also be participating. The event features expert presentations, tool vendor demonstrations, and a social networking forum to connect with MBSE professionals and leaders. Lunch will be served.
